Martijn S. - Phase 2 - Muir of Ord

Greetings Martjin!
Good work here! A lot of nice ALAP/ASAP happening here already, and it's nicely tied to the click throughout.
Very clean note-to-note navigation, with quality gracenotes all the way.

Phase 2 Result: 11/11 Requirements Achieved

Metronome Clearly Audible? Yes
"Best" Tempo Selection? Yes
Rhythm/Note-values understood? Yes
Rhythms accurate to the click of the metronome? Yes

Overall Rhythm Comments from Timothy:
There was a tendency to start gracenoted note changes slightly ahead of the click here or there. Listen back to this recording at .75x speed. It may seem microscopic at first, and it's not every time. Keep playing the Late on Purpose game and really letting yourself hear the click. Nothing wrong with slowing the metronome down for now to improve accuracy.

Correct Melody Notes? Yes
Hole Coverage Good? Yes
Crossing Noises? No
Correct Gracenotes? Yes
Missed Gracenotes? No
Gracenotes Too Big/Sloppy? No
Gracenotes Out of Sync? No

Overall Basic Melody Comments from Timothy:
This was definitely quite solid with regards to navigation and gracenote size. Not too much more to say about that! Greas Ort! (On you go!)

Bagpipers: How to Play FAST

Some pipers think that it is really hard to play fast, but they’re wrong. It’s very easy to play fast, even at a tempo that comes close to matching that of Stuart Liddell. Thus, a fast tempo is really no problem at all. The problem arises when we expect to play fast and at the same time make anything that sounds close to good music.
