Cristopher R. - Phase 2 - Viscount Montgomery

Greetings Cristopher!
You've probably heard harsher commentary from far better pipers than myself, watch out for some tiny inconsistent moments. These did not repeat themselves, but I don't want them to trouble you later. This was quite nice on the ears with regard to note changes and gracenote quality.

Phase 2 Result: 11/11 Requirements Achieved

Metronome Clearly Audible? Yes
"Best" Tempo Selection? Yes
Rhythm/Note-values understood? Yes
Rhythms accurate to the click of the metronome? Yes

Overall Rhythm Comments from Timothy:
Listen back at :12 for example and one slip during an ending phrase which is a surefire way to get the P.M. to stare hard in your direction. Those naughty tachums will snag ye if you let them, so a little extra patience is needed to keep them consistent. @Timothy-Gatehouse

Correct Melody Notes? Yes
Hole Coverage Good? Yes
Crossing Noises? No
Correct Gracenotes? Yes
Missed Gracenotes? No
Gracenotes Too Big/Sloppy? No
Gracenotes Out of Sync? No

Overall Basic Melody Comments from Timothy:
The tiny inconsistent jumps on the click mentioned above would normally hold us up, but they aren't repeating themselves on the same spot, and navigation/note changes/gracenote quality is otherwise super good. Keep this in mind as you work towards Unconscious Competence. Do me a super solid and drill down really deep with rhythm control over the next few weeks, playing the Late on Purpose game to really make sure no tachum slips under the wire. If you do, the band will love you even more for the effort. It'll be a real adventure while you work on perfecting Phase 3! Slàinte! @Timothy-Gatehouse
