Firefighter/EMT with a scottish heritage, I have always wanted to learn to play the bagpipes. I had the unfortunate experience of having to attend two funerals last year for fallen firefighters. The OFPD played at both funerals and I was able to get into contact with one of them. They invited me in with open arms and started to let me attend their practices and one of the members took me under his wing and started teaching me. He suggested I get hooked up with the Dojo and spoke very highly of the classes and instructors. So here I am. I know very little but I do have a desire to learn so that I can join the circle of pipers in the band and honor my brothers and sisters who have fallen.
