Biographical

Bio
  1. Musically, I began piano lessons at age 5 and played cello on highschool. I earned a nursing degree and worked in the operating room for over 30 years. During my nursing career I attended a conservatory, earning a BA in music with organ as my instrument and served as Episcopal and Catholic organist. In retirement, I looked to my Canadian roots and my love of the bagpipes,  taking private lessons and being invited to play with a prominent band in Kansas City. The camaraderie of fellow pipers, lead by a very upbeat Pipe Major,  makes our practices fun but sadly, since March 2020 we have been unable to meet.
