Bio

I started learning how to play pipes when I was about 18 years old.  My first instructor was Glen Pryor, who was a member of the Ogilvy Highlanders in Arden, Delaware.  I later took lessons from Bob Gilchrist for a few years, and started to learn piobaireachd until college "got in the way."  In 1981 I joined the City of Wilmington Pipe Band,  then approximately 1995 I joined the Pipes and Drums of the Delaware Valley.  I was their Pipe Major from 2002 to 2009.  I am currently a piper with the Washington Memorial Pipe Band in Wayne, PA.

Currently I am a Grade 3 piper,  with a few medals.   My main interest is piobaireachd, but I am trying to become a better piper  (aren't we all!).
