My name is Jake, I started taking chanter lessons for the first time in the spring of 2021. While taking chanter lessons, I started playing bass in the band just to be more involved. I performed in the Virginia International Tattoo with Tidewater Pipes & Drums in April of 2022 on the GHB, where I met some really great people and learned a lot on the fly. Since then, I’ve just been practicing, performing, performing solo gigs, and looking for every advantage I can find to become a better piper…which is why I am here!

I’m looking forward to all that Dojo U has to offer, I’m very excited to utilize the program to improve, and grow as a player, and also excited to get even more involved in the world of piping by participating as much as possible!
