Larry S. - Phase 4 - Peggy Gillies

Hi Larry,

Very nice work here this week. Playing is really solid here and pipes sound great. There's a few minor points that you should keep working on and definitely don't make the simplified versions strangers but it's time to move on to phase 5! Here's a few things to watch out for. One or two sync errors right at the end when you fell off the beat for 2 beats. Some borderline MBAs on High Gs, I watched your blowing it doesn't seem to be intrinsically linked to the note but it is a sensitive note so we hear the change between blowing and squeezing. I think that fact that we do hear it and that you didn't change your blowing is evidence it's not a MBA but there are some gains to be made in steadiness overall. Lastly, the rhythm was accurate here but the short notes are much large than they need to be, this is a phase 5 topic anyway and what you'll work on next. Make those short notes all the same size and as short as musically possible. Great work here and really consistent progress. Nice work and welcome to phase 5!

Cheers,
Carl and Chance
